A Smart Shopper’s Journey
Emma was flipping through a catalogue when she saw an advertisement for a designer brand having a big sale. She had been saving up for months to buy a stylish handbag, but she still wasn’t sure if she could afford it.
She decided to visit the store, hoping to find a bargain. As she entered, a customer in front of her was arguing about a missing receipt, trying to take back an item. Emma hurried past and went straight to the handbags section, where she carefully selected one.The bag’s cost was higher than expected, and she realized she would have to invest a bit more money. She had some coins and small change in her wallet, but not enough to make the purchase. She considered using her credit card, but she already had a debt to pay off.
While she was thinking, a salesperson approached and told her that the bags were in high demand and would soon be out of stock. If she didn’t buy it now, she might not get another chance. Emma decided to go home and check her budget first.
On her way back, she passed a store that sold imported leather goods. The owner explained that they import materials from Italy and export finished products worldwide. Their prices were much lower, and Emma saw a similar handbag at half the price!
Realizing she could save a small fortune, she made the purchase and received a free gift as a bonus. The store owner even gave away some cleaning products for the bag.
When Emma got home, she checked her savings and calculated how much she had left. The numbers didn’t add up—she had forgotten that she still owed her friend some money. She quickly transferred the amount to pay back her friend.
Feeling satisfied with her smart decision, Emma looked at her new bag and smiled. She had gotten a quality product at a great price and still had enough money left to waste on a small treat for herself.
