Essay on Easter

Sunday, April 4, is Easter. Like many families, we are preparing for this holiday with great pomp. We paint eggs, make holiday dishes, make sweets. Easter or the Feast of the Miraculous Resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the five pavilion holidays of the Christian churches, including the ancient, main holiday of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Our relatives visited us at Easter. We went to the church, lit a candle there, brought a candle and lit the candles in the house. Then we sat down at a beautiful table and said: «CHRIST IS RISEN FROM DEATH, BLESSED IS THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST.» The adults around the table were toasting with wine, congratulating each other, fighting over eggs. We had a very happy day. I really like this holiday. It is a very colorful and beautiful holiday.
